The Kentucky Requirement
Effective September 30, 2024, Kentucky veterinarians must complete 2 hours of CE in one of three topic areas:
- 2 hours minimum — of continuing education in ONE of the following topic areas
- Choice requirement — Veterinarian selects which topic to fulfill (antimicrobials, controlled substances, OR laws)
- Part of 30 hours total — These 2 hours count toward the 30 required renewal hours
